Thousands of Cameroonian took on the streets to march in solidarity with troops fighting Nigerian terror group Boko Haram. They took it as an opportunity to launch an awareness campaign, letting people know the threats that Boko Haram is posing to the nation and the neighbouring West-Africa nations. Boko Haram has since carried multiple cross boarder raids into Cameroon and Chad killing scores of people. In Cameroon they once kidnapped the Prime-minister's wife and in Chad, a chief and many other villagers were butchered by the group as revenge for helping Nigeria to fight against them. A lot of Nigerians are living in Chad and Cameroon as refuges and an estimated number of 3000+ are believed to have fled Nigeria into Chad.
Cameroon and Chad have so far fully involved in the fight against the terror group and they seem to be making progress as evidenced by a number of towns which were once seized by the group regain.Nigerian presidential elections which were scheduled to take place in February this year have been since postponed to a further date for  civilians safety. We pray that peace will soon be restored in Nigeria and all the other West Africa nations
